News from the COI President’s Office…

Dear Compel Partner,

It is a new day for Compel Outreach International! For many years I have petitioned God for the continued growth of COI, that we might increase our outreach to the nations and that He would enable me to minimize my weekly travels, stateside. God has answered this prayer in a way that can only be GOD! After much prayer and supplication, I have accepted the call as Senior Pastor of College Heights Baptist Church in Gallatin, TN. God has given Wendy and me such a sweet peace about this. And, the College Heights’ family is excited to embrace the ministry opportunities offered through Compel Outreach International; including the Kenya Orphanage (Hope Home), COI Bible College in Tamil Nadu, India, the church plants in Ghana, Malawi, Mexico and the Philippines; and international evangelism! Now that our personal needs will be covered by salary, more funding will go directly to supporting this international ministry! Isn’t that just like God, to give us the desires of our heart when we are yielded to Him? All things are for His purpose and in His timing!

COI will continue to maintain offices at CHBC with Wendy providing daily oversight. I will continue to direct the vision and lead the crusades. Catherine will assist with COI mission trip planning and other activities as needed, but primarily, will provide administrative assistance for my pastoral responsibilities. In reality, the only real changes will be fewer weekly U.S. revivals and increased funding for the crusades and discipleship training! God is good!

I pray you will continue your partnership with Compel Outreach as we travel the highways and hedges for Jesus. God is continuing to open doors in new areas for COI.  We are scheduled for Mexico (2X), Canada, Kenya and Nigeria in 2008; and praying about India and Pakistan in early 2009.

Thank you for your faithfulness in making a difference for the Kingdom of God through COI.  I ask for your continued prayers, partnership and petitions unto the Lord for COI. I am committed…
